'Rotten Park Road' is an emerging, award-winning theatre company dedicated to new writing and innovative theatre, based in Stoke on Trent.
Formerly known as 'Random Productions', founded by Lynne and Patrick in 2004, the team now consists of four artists: Matt, Lynne, Patrick and Dean.

Patrick and Lynne will be the artists involved in the drama element of ‘Game of 2 Arfs’.

 
Patrick McConnell - Resident Writer & Actor, Rotten Park Road

Born and raised in Staffordshire, since graduating from Birmingham School of Speech and Drama, Patrick has gone on to work nationally in both theatre and television.
Patrick was a founder member and resident writer of Random Productions working successfully out the North West.
In 2007 alone, Patrick has been on tour with JM Barrie’s Peter Pan, the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, period drama Lord Hatherton’s Penny, Effie’s Nerves at Thornton Little Theatre, and Cold Blood for ITV.

In 2006 Patrick wrote, starred in and directed A Story for when we’re Grandads which went on national tour and also played for a week at The Buxton Festival Fringe, where the show was nominated for Best Production and went on to win Patrick the Best New Writing award.

In 2007 Patrick wrote and starred in Playtime for the Suicidal at the Buxton Fringe festival and has just completed his latest work Don’t Blink Don’t Breathe, which is currently under development for Rotten Park Road.

 



 
Lynne Payne - Creative Producer, Rotten Park Road


A native of Blackpool, Lynne studied theatre at Lancashire University and LAMDA.
Lynne's recent professional acting credits include Cold Blood (ITV), Playtime for the Suicidal (Stage), A Story for when we’re Grandads (Stage), Effie’s Nerves (Stage), Megalomaniac Blues (Short Film) and Don’t Blink, Don’t Breathe (Rehearsed Reading).

In addition to her acting credits, Lynne has worked as a professional dance artist and drama worker in the community. As a dance artist, Lynne has worked for the internationally acclaimed Ludus Dance Company, as a contemporary dance teacher at The Hammond School, and as a performer for Co3 Dance Company, based in Chester.
